Quilts on Wheels: Overview
The "Quilts On Wheels" presentation for middle and high school students has been an outreach education project of The North Shore Quilter's Guild intended to encourage the appreciation of quilting as an art form for students. Whether or not you have seen the presentation, we encourage young people to learn about and get involved in this exciting and artistic hobby.
How to get started
1.See the bibliography on this website. Get books from your school or public library, read,
and Just Do It!
2. See Shops and Links on this website. All of the shops have beginning quilting classes. Sign up early.
3. Ask a teacher, parent, youth leader, neighbor, or friend to start a group class in beginning quilting, or show you individually.
